I made it to a MILLION in investments!!

HI all. I am just checking in here and sharing that I made it to a MILLION in investments (and that was after I moved 25% into bonds). 

So nice to see how we have a lot of 'old timers' still here and a lot of newbies!. I guess I count as an old timer now. What a journey it has been.

I will update my sidebar and start posting again. This blog and wonderful community really keeps you accountable.

    Congrats! It's nice to reach those milestones, isn't it?! And you have a nice split between liquid/emergency assets, taxable, and tax-deferred assets, as well, which will make it easier when you move into the decumulation (retirement) phase.

    THanks everyone. So fun to be back. I am 55 now (just turned 55 in October). Wow. I remember posting here when I bought my first 6 homes and then the crazy short refinance on my own home. So fun to document and read back. Thanks for supporting me.
